It's very important to find time in your week to see your friends and do activities together that make you happy.
Even when you are sad or angry, your friends are there for you to talk to.
Friends are really special, they even help to keep you healthy. Sometimes it can be really hard to make good friends, so it’s super important that if you’re having trouble making friends, you tell an adult you trust.
Talk it out
You may feel embarrassed about telling your friends about your parents MS.
Explain to them what the symptoms are. This will help them to understand what your parent is going through and imagine how it might be for them to do everyday activites.
- Get some paper and write the symptoms down. This may make it easier when explaining them to your friends.
Talking about your feelings can be really helpful. Chatting to your friends may help you feel better, and they might even come up with some great ideas.
Go out and have fun! Your parents want you to have fun, so do it!!
